INFORMATION MEMORANDUM ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF JOB SEEKERS
- PURPOSE OF THE DOCUMENT
This document is intended for you, a job applicant in one of the companies of the GTH Group, in order to provide clear and understandable information about the processing of your personal data.
The Information Memorandum is effective from 25.5.2018 and is issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).

2. OUR GROUP
The GTH Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Group") consists of the following companies: GTH catering a.s., Company ID 09342061, registered office at Tomíčkova 2144/1, 148 00 Prague 4 (parent company), GTH Facilities School Catering, spol. s r.o., Company ID 25753487, registered office at Tomíčkova 2144/1, 148 00 Prague 4.
3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
We process only personal data that are necessary to fulfil any of the purposes of processing (see below), in particular basic identification data (name and surname), contact data (address, telephone and e-mail address), data on education, qualifications, relevant experience, completed training and skills, the required amount of wage/remuneration and other conditions of the contractual relationship, data from the criminal record in cases where it results from the material nature of the work performed or legal regulation.
We also process the data contained in the documents provided by you (CV and cover letter), which may include your photo, date of birth, residence, links to social media profiles.
Exceptionally, we may also collect data generated in connection with the tests placed in the selection procedure or during the verification of the data provided by the applicant.
4. WHY WE PROCESS IT AND WHAT ENTITLES US TO DO SO
We process the personal data of applicants primarily for the purpose of ensuring the recruitment and selection of suitable employees for open positions. The legal basis for this processing is the measures.
accepted prior to the conclusion of an (employment) contract, carried out at the request of the data subject, and the fulfilment of obligations in the field of labour law.
If the applicant has not been selected or the employment relationship has not been concluded, but we are interested in approaching the applicant with an offer of employment in the future, we further process personal data only on the basis of the consent given by the applicant. Such consent may subsequently be withdrawn at any time.
We may also process personal data if it is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party. You have the right to object to such processing, on the basis of which we will stop the processing until we can prove that there are compelling legitimate reasons that override the interests or rights and freedoms of the data subject (applicant), or the processing is necessary for the exercise or defence of legal claims.
5. WHERE WE GET THEM
The source of personal data is mainly documents and information provided directly by the applicant or obtained from contractual partners (recruitment agencies), from recruitment portals and public records and registers.
6. WHERE AND HOW LONG DO WE STORE THEM
We do not intend to transfer the personal data of candidates to third countries that do not provide an adequate level of protection of personal data.
We usually store the personal data of job applicants for the duration of the preparation and implementation of the selection procedure. In justified cases, we may retain it for a longer period of time necessary to protect the legitimate interests of our Group, e.g. due to potential judicial or administrative proceedings.
We store personal data processed on the basis of the consent granted by the applicant for the period of valid consent to the processing of personal data.
7. TO WHOM WE MAKE THEM AVAILABLE
Candidates' personal data may be shared within our Group. They may also be made available to external suppliers (in particular IT services) or to state authorities in the exercise of their powers.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM
In connection with the protection of your personal data, you have the right to request:
- confirmation of whether our Company processes personal data about you, what categories, for what purposes and for what period, from what sources we draw them, who are their recipients, about the fact that automated decision-making, including profiling, about appropriate safeguards when transferring data outside the EU
- a free copy of the personal data, provided that the rights and freedoms of others are not adversely affected
- correcting your inaccurate personal data or completing it by providing an additional statement
- revocation of your consent to the processing of personal data
- erasure of your personal data, restriction or objection to their processing
- file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection
These rights can be exercised by means of a written request delivered to the address of the registered office of the relevant company (see Chapter 2) or to the e-mail box of oznamto@gthcatering.cz. It is necessary to include the text "Personal data" in the subject of the message
We will provide you with information about the evaluation of your application and the measures taken without undue delay, no later than 30 days. In exceptional cases, of which we inform you, we are entitled to extend this period by two months.
